    there is no direct way to do it. The iPad doesnt' support a direct transfer of files off of it through the camera connection kit to a card.

     

    You'd have to connect your iPad, download the content of your DCIM folder via windows explorer (or mac finder) to your computer, then connec the SD card to your computer and put the photos on it.


    people have mentioned other photos apps for file transfer but I don't think they support the transfer off the iPad to a card.

    The Image Capture application on the Mac will allow you to transfer images from your device to any folder you select, including folders on an SD card.
