iMovie '09 not recognizing iPhoto Videos

I've completed the above task of installing the QuickTime Player 7 and still I cannot access any of my iPhoto videos in the iMovie Event Library--any more ideas?

iMovie (iOS), Mac OS X (10.7.4)
