iMovie resolution and orientation question

Hello all, I would like to buy IMovie but I can't find documentation on export resolutions. I'm looking for a lower quality resolution like a 480p or maybe 720. Need to send files to people with old computers. Any thoughts. Also if video is able to be rotated is another question. THANKS in adavnce
