iPad lock sound and keyboard sound is not working

I have same problem but worse. My sound control get disappear after few seconds, have tried so many things resettting it, restoring it but no use. Assuming that they are still turned on in Settings and that the volume isn't off, have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the Music/iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.

Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. That is bug.

If you go to Setting - USE SIDE SWITCH TO and select Lock rotation you can unmute icon down when you press home botom twice and scrool on the left. (now apeer icon for mute or unmute)

If you go to Setting - USE SIDE SWITCH TO and select Mute you can not unmute icon down when you press home botom twice, because icon is change (rotation or mute screen icon)

Guys...If you want sound lock/unlock bottom and keyboard you must lock rotation on your iphone or ipad.

Maybe I wrong ,but I would be very happy if someone tell me how to adjust my ipad to have lock/unlock sound and keybords sound and rotation screen in same time?

One function (either rotation lock or notification mute) is controlled by the switch on the right-hand side of the iPad above the volume control, the other function is controlled via the left-hand end of the taskbar - use Settings > General > Use Side Switch To to set which function is controlled where.

Not sure what you mean by 'appear on my volume'

Thanks, I turned the lock switch (which was being used to stop screen rotation) on and off and voila the sound was back again.

Thank goodness I thought it was the end of the ipad!!
