Time Machine Corrupted (every 3-8 days)

Hi,

I have a Synology NAS (DS212+) and I one hard drive for my time Machines backup and as you know it takes days to backup all your PCs with time Machine and after few days I get this message :

It's all ready the 3rd times it doing it and restarting the time machine from scratch, very frustrating.

I'm not sure if it's a fault from DSM 4.0-2228 (latest version) or Mac OS X 10.7.4

Does anyone experience the same issue ? Any solutions? :cry:

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4), iMac27 Core i7 3.4ghz,8Go,6970 2go

Your screenshot didn't come through, but it sounds like the message in #C13 of Time Machine - Troubleshooting.

Hi, the error message is “Time Machine completed a verification of your backups. To improve reliability, Time Machine must create a new backup for you.”

I will try it out and hopefully that will fix the issue.

Sorry, but that's not going to help. That just explains (sort of) what the message is about.

The steps under Additional Information just show how to do the verification on Leopard.
