IPhone 4s won't back up to iCloud

I wasn't aware of an issue. My iPhone and iPodTouch do their backup every morning to iCloud.

My 4S hasn't backed up since May 17th. Not sure why. Plugged my phone in last night and manually started the back-up before I went to sleep. When I woke this morning it just had a statement, not an error or warning, telling me how iCloud back up works. And it did not back-up. I've had the phone since it came out last year and it's been working just fine. Why all of a sudden has it stopped working properly? I don't even back-up my photos to iCloud. I have 22.3GB available out of 25GB.

Regarding your photos - always sync them to a computer for archive, don't rely on iCloud. You can try turning on Photo Stream for easy syncing or use the USB connection to iTunes.

Have you done a "reboot" of you iPhone (press home and power buttons until the Apple icon appears (not before). That might fix the problem.

I'm having this same issue!

I had the problem this is how you resolve it. Go to manage storage in iCloud settings on ur phone or iPad or iPod touch. Delete your last backup in its entirety. Once your iCloud is fully empty back to its 5Gb original size. Try backing up again.
