itunes connect account not sending emailto confirm it

Hello. We have created several accounts on itunes connect in an effort to publish an ibook. We have not received the confirmation email in any case. What should we do or who can we contact to solve the issue?

Yes. We tried with a partners account about 10 days ago. And since nothing was receive we created a new account and tried again. Nothing happens. Then I tried with my apple account about 4 days ago. I have not received the email either. Probably Apple should indicate in the webpage how much time this can take as just creating an account is normally instantaneous.

Ahh...you mean like the avg. reviewed times that Apple has for develpers - good idea and I suspect it's in the works, but as always, feel free to use the 'Provide iBooks Author Feedback' menu item for features you'd like added in the future, etc.

I heard that there was no email after applying - after some time (less than 2 weeks) an email arrived confirming that the application was approved and itunes connect is now active.


Maybe the email confirmation arrives when you have a new apple ID account. When you apply with exisiting ID - you just wait for approval...?


I am waiting a few days so far - applied the same day I called for EIN number, so I presume I should wait some time still.


But it is a shame that apple has not proper support for ibooks section...

As you said it is a pity that apple is not supporting iBooks properly. I think they are way ahead of everyone but as we have seen the product lacks the proper support.


Having said that today after receiving your note I tried to log in to apple connect and guess what: I logged in. I never received any email, I never confirmed anything as the web page said but it is working and I downloaded the Producer and Proofer.


I had previously contacted apple ibook support at Apple Support Communities Updates <discussions-updates@apple.com> and they were helping me and suggesting actions but it turns out it works already.

I got the mail from Apple that they have issues with my legal entity name and IRS database.
No info what issues, but I got a mail to support finally 🙂

I called the IRS and they confirmed that there are no mistakes in spelling but it could take at least 2 weeks to make the EIN number visible in their database for Apple to check it, so it takes time and no confirmation email is required after you fill the form for Paid Books account.
