Help! Broken iPhone 4S screen..need some advice.

you could take it to apple for a replacement but you will be paying $150 for an out of warranty replacement

yeah they can and it only costs like 20 dollars ro something close to that, but the "screen" is the digitizer (the thing you actually touch) . The REAL screen which is underneath that is not fixed just by walking in and leaving with it 10 inutes later. to be honest the actual screen can be replaced be you if you wanted to go that route, but so much can go wrong if you don't know what you are doing. I say take it to an Aple store and see what they offer.

Apple does NOT repair phones, they replace them.

Well thats strange because they replaced my digitizer in ten minutes for $20.

But i have not heard of them replacing the main screen.

The replacement cost for the 4S is 199. All other models are 149. At one time Apple were doing this in store but not any more. While you can find it cheaper else where it's best to do it with Apple. Your original warranty will continue. If you get it repaired by a 3rd party you will void the remaining warranty.

When you go to an Apple store they will charge you $199.00 for a refurbished phone, not a new phone, I had my phone for 2 days and dropped it with the case they recommended but the screen shattered, cost me $199 and was the worst customer service in Walnut Creek CA I have ever gotten.

I have had my iPhone 4s for less than a year. I have kept it in a LIfeproof case. It has been thru **** and back. Yesterday my daughter hit it with a pen and the front screen shattered. I have been told that since it was in the Lifeproof case that Apple with replace it for free?

You would need to take that up with lifeproof.
