My iMac not showing System Serial Number.... what can i do? 😟
when i click on more info it shows...

Was your iMac repaired before? It could be because of a logic board replacing that Apple forgot to put your system serial into your logic board
Did you have the logic board replaced recently?
For Serial Number using terminal (Applications/Utilities/terminal.app) copy and paste:
ioreg -l | awk -F\" ' /IOPlatformSerialNumber/ { print $4 } 'If there was a replacement of the LB you will have to take it back and have them flash the board with new serial number.
My guess is that your original logic board was replaced at some point.

i talk to apple care... they said it's not a big issue... u just reboot you iMac with your os dvd and its show your serial number again.... 🙂
