I installed Number GURU and I hate it now I can not seem to get it uninstalled please help!!!!!
Hi. Late to this post, so you may have figured this out by now. I had the same deal. Launch icloud.com on a laptop, and select Contacts. Select the NumberGuru group, click Settings, and click Delete.
Why can you not delete it? Lean on the icon until everything wriggles, then hit the delete button in the corner of the icon? What happens?
I did delete it with this method, how ever when I get a incoming call it still shows up on my phone.
What shows up on your phone?
Instead of the incoming number being displayed the number guru shows up just rings and show the number guru
That doesn't make sense. I have Number Guru. It's not great, but it's marginally OK for reporting spam calls, etc.
Maybe you can post a screen shot. I've never seen it do anything like that. It's a simple reference app. It can't interact with anything.
Ok you have the app the screen that it shows when a unknown number is calling or 800 ect that it displays when u get a call is still showing up on my phone when I get these types of calls even after deleting the app! I no longer have the app yet that screen still displays
The app created contacts for known spammers and assigned that picture to them. Delete them from your contacts.

This app has attached itself to my icloud contacts list!! If I uncheck number guru it unchecks my entire contact list. I have uninstalled the app a long time ago but it still is on my iPhone 5s
Im having the same issue. Tlhubbs26 please post if you find a solution. I've had the app deleted since 2010 and never found a way to get it detached from my iCloud contacts and it's annoying.
