game center scores wrong after deleting and reinstalling angry birds

I deleted Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds when my iphone crashed. After reinstalling, my scores on the game center are wrong. As I play, my rankings are going the wrong way. For example, with Rio, my ranking started around 30,000 and after I finished it was around 45,000.

At this point I would just like to reset my rankings and start over but I don't know how to do that. It looks like the scores are kept on Apple's servers and I'm not able to reset them myself.

Has anyone else run into this and found a solution?
