In Excel on Windows OS it is possible to import any XML "table" as a spreadsheet. It is possible to work in Excel with them like normal spreadsheets.
In Office:mac this feature is missing!
I have tried also Numbers '09 (2.1) and also no success.
RFE: It would be a great feature in OS X to have the same possibility used very often in financial eBusinesses.

Assuming "RFE" expands to "request for enhancement," or something similar, you're asking in the wrong place.
This is a user-to-user forum, not regularly read by Apple or its development teams. Messages you intend to be read by Apple, including feature enhancement requests, should go via the feedback route: Provide Numbers Feedback, found in the Application menu ("Numbers" menu in Numbers) in current Apple applications.
