after updating to 10.7.4, the network and clock icons that were showing on my menu bar have disappeared. I cannot get them to reappear by checkin ght e show in menu bar option in sys prefs. any ideas?

Try to do a safe boot (press Shift key during boot) and see if your problem happens. If it doesn't work, reinstall OS X 10.7.4 using the Combo
Hi, Thanks for responding, i did use the combo update and i tried booting in safe mode. The system menu icons aprear briefly and then, poof! They are gone. Seems to be an issure witht he System UI prefs but i don't know how to fix it. Anyone find a solution?
I have the same problem after installing 10.7.4. menu bar not displaying. Did any one resolved this?
