About 10 minutes ago, I tried opening an app, and my iTouch froze. Currently, there is nothing on the screen; it just glows. I tried holding the home button and off button multiple times, but it's not working. Next, I plugged it into my computer, but it doesn't show up in iTunes and it doesn't register that my laptop has it pulgged in. Does anyone know what to do?

Try entering DFU mode.
Connect to iTunes. Press Power for 3 seconds, hold Home+Power for 10 seconds and then release Power, still holding the Home Button.

If not successful and you can't turn the iPod off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour tyr the article again.
Well, I tried that, and nothing happened. It remained on the same blank screen.
That article doesn't work for me, since I cannot complete the early steps since my iTouch won't respond whatsoever. I may have to try to let it die, but that may take quite a long time.
Eventually, I tried DFU mode once more (After trying a couple times), and it turned off finally. Thank you everyone for your help.
