Perhaps this is not doable in Livetype, but I'm trying to apply an effect to a tif with transparency. The tif looks fine when I "place" the file on the canvas, but after applying the effect (float) the tif turns into a white silhouette on the canvas. The effect actually does work, but only after changing the image to the white silhouette.

What software was used to produce the .tiff images?
If it came from Photoshop on a Windows computer, open it again in Photoshop on a Mac.
Save a copy using the Mac compression settings.

The image is a piece of clip art converted from a jpeg to a tif in Photoshop (Mac). I did save as "Macintosh" in the Byte Order but still get the white silhouette. Thanks for giving it a stab!
How do you animate tifs using effects in Livetype? Effect turns tif white.
