May 24, 2012 8:50 PM in response to isabelfromsalemby Soto,well unfortunatley your warranty is over so the device is not covered, BUT sounds like you have interupting signals being sent from a stuck home button constantly being pressed and maybe even a digitizer problem (the touch screen). You can try to restore your ipod to your computer to see if it might be some kind of software related issue. Just restore to the last sync you have on iTunes. But FIRST...I would try to Reset your ipod.
Go to Settings>General>Reset> Reset all settings.

If still problem time for an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem. The appointment is free.
