wierd problem with list by artist...?

Question

wierd problem with list by artist...?

So how come I can't find Kelly Clarkston in the artist list on my iPod when I have her album Breakaway loaded in iTunes?

When I bring up the album by the album list, her name is listed correctly on the display.

I haven't checked to see if other artists names are missing yet. I noticed this one though since I was searching by artist name....

Wassup with this?

See if there is perhaps a space in front of her name, so it's going in the list out of order. That's really hard to notice on the screen.

apparently if CDs are marked as compilations they may not show up on the artists list. so check if this is marked as a compilation. in itunes: right click on song go to get info. options I think. and see if it's marked as a compilation. change it if it is.
