Q: iPod 20GB problems HELP!!
So I won a 4th Generation 20GB iPod on a site,
it had been dead for a couple of years and once I charged it for a long time, it started right up,
once I plugged it in, that's when all the problems started.
It shows the "Do Not Disconnect" when it is connected regularly but it will NOT show up in "My Computer" or even in my iTunes,
when I put it into DISK MODE, it will show up in iTunes and tells me that the iPod is corrupt and that I need to restore it in order to use it again,
So of course I clicked to restore it, and it always starts going like it is going to restore but then I keep getting an error that says "iPod cannot be restored. Error 1437."
When I tried to look for it it in "My Computer" it shows up as "Removable Disk (G:)"
I've tried countless times to get any kind of access to the Removable Disk (G:) folder that the iPod shows up as but I keep getting an error that says "G:\ is not accessible Incorrect function"
It will not let me doing anything, I right clicked on it and tried to "Format.." but nothing ever happens.
I am completely lost on what to do so I can start using this iPod!
PLEASE HELP!
iPod classic, Windows Vista
