Problem uploading tracks to soundcloud

Hi! I'm having trouble uploading my garageband tracks to soundcloud. I assume this is because they are saved as .band and not an extension that soundcloud recognizes. How do I save it as lets say .mp3 or something recognizable so I can upload successfully.

If you have your GB project all mixed, then go to Garageband>Share menu (then click on Soundcloud), you would see GB bounce your track. You'll see the progress bars in blue finish up.

Then you would see Uploading to Soundcloud.... if it fails each time, it's mostly likely your Soundcloud account.

Check to see in your Soundcloud account if it's asking you to verify your email account. If you haven't done this, GB will fail to upload to Soundcloud each time.

Wouldn't I have to export it to itunes if I did that?

that has nothing to do with iTunes, mp3 is a lossy format, it tosses out up to 90% of the musical information... that's how it compresses.

try choosing the custom option and increasing the bitrate, etc, or try AAC
