I am having a bit of a problem with a clients xserve (OSX 10.5.8). I have little experience with OSX in general so hopfully you guys can help me out.

The server has a RAID 5 setup with 3 drives and one of the drives failed. I replaced it with the same exact model but the raid isn't automatically rebuilding. The new drive does show up under the RAID Utility (status Good) but the raid group didn't grab it automatically (raid is still degraded). I tried to follow a few guides but they kept sending me to the disc utility which does not show any info about the RAID at all. The only place I can find that seems to have any idea the raid exists is in the "RAID Utility".

Thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
