I am trying to quit my safari but it won't do it.. The only response I get is the one of closing the window. I can't shut down my computer or restart it because of this. Can somebody please tell me what to do?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Force Quit.
Press command + option + esc keys on the keyboard. Wait
In the window that opens up highlight Safari if not already and click Force Quit button.
Wait few seconds.
I already know how to "force quit." My question is: why do I have to do it every time I want to close the browser?
So bad that Apple still has this problem in 10.8.x!

Hi t,
Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds until it shuts down.
I have used Onyx from Titanium and now I can stop Safari without forcing it to stop.
Great Programm and that for free. It was maybe better when Apple this program supported.
