May 25, 2012 2:14 PM in response to truckee8by Kappy,Copy all the iWeb files for you site from one computer to the other. Use an external hard drive or USB flash drive as the intermediary. Or you can use Target Disk Mode if both computers have Firewire ports and you have the appropriate Firewire cable - Transferring files between two computers using FireWire.
If you have both computers on your local network then transfer the files using File Sharing - Sharing preferences.

May 25, 2012 3:15 PM in response to Kappyby QuickTimeKirk,Are you sure about your answer?
iWeb writes all of its data into a special package file named Domain.sites2 that is stored in the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.
Moving only that file from one machine to the proper location on another is the only way to move the iWeb data.
iWeb can't "import" previously published data.

May 25, 2012 4:44 PM in response to truckee8by Old Toad,In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Once you get the domain.sites file copied from your old Mac to the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on your new Mac follow this:
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
do shell script "/usr/bin/defaults write com.apple.iWeb iWebDefaultsDocumentPath -boolean no"
delay 1
tell application "iWeb" to activate
You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.
