Iphone 4S Camera Shutter won't open after update to iOS 5.1.1
are other people having this issue too and if yes then how did you resolve it?

Did you try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes up again? You will not lose data doing a reset.
If this does not help, set it up as new device again, without using the latest backup.
