someone else has to have 'find my iphone' installed and then you just sign in to your icloud account on their phone. you also might be able to sign into your icloud account on their phones browser and locate it that way.

No they do not... geesh does no one have a clue how to read.


To track a missing iDevice using "Find My iPhone" you can:


Go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

On another iDevice, install the "Find My iPhone" app from the app store, enter the Apple ID credentials and track it.

There is NO need for the 2nd iDevice to have "Find My iPhone" enabled or disabled, it is completely irrelevant.
