Erase All Content and Settings: No Apple logo and a progress bar. Only looped circular loading icon.

I know that Erasing All Content and Settings on an iPhone will takes several hours...

My iPhone is 32GB...

I read in some forum that a 16GB iPhone took about 6hrs... so I just assumed it would be like two times longer...

But what I'm bothered is that it's already been 8hrs but still there is no apple logo and progress bar..

Only a circular loading icon appears on loop for the past hours... Is it just me or my iPhone is stuck or something...

Anyone experienced something like this? How was it? And was it successfully reformated or something?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1
