Am I missing a setting somewhere? I get time and date stamps on text messages, when I shut down my iPhone - any conversations via text are date and time stamped at the time my iphone is repowered on. Anyone have a clue s to how to keep all texts time and date stamped?????
How can I fix my iMessage text to include the date and time stamp on my text message. Why was this feature removed anyway? I want this added back on. Can someone help me?
Put your finger on the message. Slide the screen to the left. The time/date stamps will appear down the right side of the screen.
ONLY THE TIME IS SHOWING UP....NOT THE DATE STAMP...EVEN MY OLDER TEXT MESSAGES IS MISSING DATE STAMPS...NEED HELP GETTING IT BACK ON...

The date will be in with the messages. However, it will only show up just before the first message of the day.
None of this is user adjustable.
iMessages are grouped together based on time. if you text your friend hi and then 5 minutes later you text him again, they will be farther apart from each other to conclude a change in time has occured. after a few minutes of not texting and the texting you will se a new timestamp above the first text. also drage the texts to the right and you will see the timestamps 😎
