Siri is no longer responding -I can't dictate anything.

I've been using Siri and voice dicatation quite happily since I got my new iPhone, but starting yesterday it has stopped working completely. When I call up Siri for anything, I can't a "sorry I can't help you right now -try again" message, and when I try to enter any text via dictation it shows the dots in the text field, then shakes them from side to side as if saying "no"... What's going on? Nothing changed on my phone. Are Apple's servers down??

Thanks -I had tried that already with no luck. I should have said so.

First I tried restarting, then resetting. I hesitate to do a factory reset because it takes so long to load everything back, but it looks like that's the next step.

I take it no one else is having this problem, so it's not the Apple servers? 😟
