Hi, I have a MacBook Air with Lion operating system. My computer is very slow and I would like to revert back to Snow Leopard. I erased the hard drive and rostered from Time Machine but again with Lion. Can I restore everything but Lion, settings and files?

You need to restore from a backup made before installing Lion and/or install Mac OS X 10.6 onto a blank partition.

Yes. Start from your Snow Leopard install disc and do a full system restore from your last Snow Leopard backup. See Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #14 for details.
