FCP c X Not Saving-Crashing

I couldn't find any threads on the more recent than several months ago, but I'm using FCP Pro X and it's crashing and not saving any of my work for the last 1/2 hour or so. Apparently Auto Save isn't working and there doesn't seem to be any way to manually save the project. Just happened while creating titles.

Using the latest version on my macbook pro 17.
