Cant migrate from PC to iMac

Hi!

When I try to migrate via wifi, or net cable, using the migrate assistants on pc and mac, the computers cant find each other. Message on pc is "waiting for Mac to connect". On the iMac the message "looking for computers".

Net: 10 Mb speed home wifi, both computers connected.

PC: Win 7 with Panda antivirus and firewall, windows firewall is also turned off.

IMac: new with i5 processor, 8 Mb RAM. Parallel and windows installed as virtual machine.

Any ideas out there?

Tony.

Using wi-fi is not what Apple recommends in the on-screen directiosn. Apparently you're missing something in your connection, please carefully look over

You need to ensure both machines are on the same network. CAREFULLY read the article, if you still cannot get it you may have to visit your local Apple Store or AASP to have them help you. You also have 90 days of free AppleCare telephone support but remember these guys are not PC networking people, they'll try but MS Windows isn't what they're specialty is. You should also look over http://www.apple.com/support/switch101/

Good luck!
