Hi, i receive a message from google that my ipad 2 was infected with the dns changer, i also checked this on and they confirm to me that my ipad is infected. Is there a way to remove this virus from the ipad?

Finnally i solved the problem, i just had to restore (reset) the ipad from itunes to the original backup, and now i have internet again. Thanks anyway for all the answers, i really appreciate your help.

No it isn't. Your iPad cannot get a virus. Read this very recent discussion about the dns changer bot.

The message you got was a scam.


The article states


Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android devices, however, cannot be affected by the virus, which redirects users to servers controlled by cyber criminals.
