Photos have disappeared from my iPad when Sync'd

I attempted to sync my photo's to my pc for the first time (approx 150 photos) and I ended up choosing an empty folder... Now all of my pics are gone... I also didn't have them going to the iCloud... for some reason, I don't even have the optoin of pics even when I log into icloud.com

Please help! I want my pics back!

This is not syncing. Photos/videos in the iPad's Camera Roll can be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Choosing an empty folder for importing photos from the Camera Roll has no effect on this.

What did you use on your computer for the import? Most importing software includes an option to delete photos from the source after the import process is complete.

If you want photos in the Camera Roll included with your iCloud's Photo Stream which is temporary storage, you need to turn Photo Stream on with your iCloud account settings on your iPad.

The iTunes sync process has nothing to do with the Camera Roll. iTunes does not handle importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll and the Camera Roll is not touched during the iTunes sync process.

iTunes handles the transfer of photos from your computer, which is selected under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes. All photos that were on your iPad that were transferred from your computer should remain on your computer. Select the same original folder with those photos under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences followed by a sync.
