How to open an edf file

I have an edf (file extension) file and apparently have 'lost' the application to open it. What do I do now? (It's an important file!)

Mac Book, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

Some kind of Sound file, maybe a Drum Beat?

In quite easy terms neither UNIX nor Mac running methods utilised EDF file extensions. Rather each has had its personal file programs, with diverse conventions for storing meta info, which has altered with time. UNIX methods would shop each of the info being a single string while, up until finally Mac OS X, Apples would shop the information employing specific code contained within the file.

Nonetheless, acknowledging that the prevalence of Windows has manufactured the EDF file extension the common strategy of expressing a file's function (and in addition reflecting architectural alterations for the code made when Mac OS absorbed Up coming Software's UNIX primarily based OPENSTEP operating program) Mac OS X now makes use of EDF file extensions also.

What is EDF file extension?

is associated with Drumbeat, a sophisticated file sharing tool sold by Groundlevel Software, Inc.

A .edf file contains some sort of internal component data.

EDF file type is probably old or no longer supported file format

From Granma Donna... I 'created' this file in 2007, from some template I've since forgotten. I seem to recall that it was a template included with some application, like Word?, from a list of 'personal or home' organization tools. Basically, it was/is a fill in the blanks kind of multi page document where one can list/detail personal data such as financial accounts, medical contacts info, location of important documents, etc... i.e. 'everything my executor would want to know'!!
