fireface 800...what drivers for mac g5 dual 2 ghz

I just got a fireface 800, but nothing is happening. Im using a mac g5 dual 2ghz with osx 10.5.8. Im presuming the drivers that came with the fireface dont suit an older machine. Im new to mac so would be greatful of help! When i try run the fireface mixer it tells me it is not supported on the architecture.

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Looks like you just need to contact the manufacturer for your drivers:

It says compatible with both PowerPC (you have), and 10.3.x or later.

10.4.4 was the first prebundled with Intel Macs, but was also available for PowerPC Macs.

10.5 was the first retail released that could run on both.

So there is a good chance the drivers are compatible with your G5.

have you ran the latest firmware version for the Fireface then ran the driver installer?

both have to be compatible with your OS version and you need the installers to confim this during setup.

Have you also then configured the device in Utilities > Audio MIDI setup?

you will need to refer to the user instructions to perform exactly how the hardware and configuration is done.
