i need a driver for a maxtor one touch 4 plus drive imac os 10.6.8

You should not need any drivers to use the Maxtor with OS X.


If it is new, just hook it up to your iMac with either the USB or FireWire cable. Then either allow Time Machine to set it up or erase and format it using Disk Utility.

If it has been used and formatted by your windows pc, then you should copy any data back to your pc and format it MS-DOS FAT-32 for sharing cross platform or Mac OS X Extended for the Mac only.
