How do I start up windows 7 when it asks to press ctrl alt del when I have no Del button

Hi guys,

I have windows 7 Ultimate on a partition on my Macbook Pro. Because I don't have a lot of memory reserved for windows, I compressed the files in windows to make more room available. But when I try to start windows it say's ''..... Is compressed, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart''. But that's the problem, I don't have a Del button! I tried the key combinations I use for Del in windows but they don't work. I tried to use a keyboard with a del button, but it doesn't respond. And it does when I use Mac OS X.

I have no idea what to do now. Can anybody help me?

Your keys may be silver, may be black, the delete key is in the same place.

Yeah I know that. It's just a backspace key. And it doesn't respond.

When I try to restart windows I see this

You picture is not visible, and on a Mac Backspace = Delete.

When I klick on it the picture shows.

Does the delete key delete, yes or no?

How did you compress the Windows files?

In windows mode it doesn't work as a delete key.

I used right click on the C: thing and then marked the box 'compress files to save memory' or something. After I clicked 'ok' the thing started compressing, and when it was finished I played a game without any problems. But when I tried to start windows mode the next day this came up.

You have completely borked your windows installation.

Remove the windows partition using Boot Camp and start over, allocate enough space (50G) this time.

Hello

If you hold down cmd, alt, ctrl, fn and press the back space twice you will get past the ctrl alt del sign. - I use this all the time when running Windows Server 2008 via VirtualBox - works for me ! so give it a try ...
