My fonts for messages and email contents have exploded to a very large size.
I tried restoring to factory settings. That did not work.
I did find the answer

This didn't happen by itself - this must be changed manually. If you restored your iPhone from your iPhone's backup, this put you right back where you started since this setting is included with the iPhone's backup.
