time bar is on the side of my iphone screen

How do you change the time bar from top to the side of the screen. My daughter was playing with my phone and now the time bar as well as battery bar etc. is all on the side of the screen....any help to restore to original position would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of such a thing.

There is no setting or option to move the status bar from the top to either side or bottom.

When switching from portrait to landscape view with an app that supports it, the status bar will change with the view - always being at the top.

There is a portrait view orientation lock, but not one for landscape view.

Try powering the iPhone off and on.
