My Ipad will not sync with my pc. I dont get the summarry tab or devices come up in the panel. The sync cabel is working as I doulbe checked with my ipod. Any ideas what the settings should be on my ipad to sync. The ipad is currently empty . no music etc

does it show up in iphoto in osx or as a camera in windows then maybe

the connector in your ipad was damaged try a nother computer to check

It sounds like you need the driver for your Ipad to be installed. If you're using a hub or extender, stop and plug it directly into the box. Try a different USB port. If you haven't already, update your iTunes to the latest version.

Worst case, uninstall and reinstall iTunes
