I'm not sure what is wrong but iTunes keeps telling me that updates are available.
I try to do this and then iTunes store says that there are no updates. Any one know why I can't update?

Are you referring to an iOS device such as an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch?
If so, you can update the software directly from the device.
This is to the iPhone. I tried downloading another ap from the store and that worked.
Apparently it is only the updating feature. I can update on the iphone just not the iMac.
Apps that run on your iPhone cannot be used on an iMac. Two different operating systems. Mac OS X vs iOS
Or are you referring to apps you have downloaded from the App Store on your Mac ??
That shouldn't be the case since the dialog is from iTunes ...
Thanks. I am not trying to run these on the iMac, just update so they can be synced to the iPhone, something I have done before.
