Q: Rental failed to download on my PC. error mesage -50. Can I get a refund?

Hi. Bought movie Hugo to rent for 48 hours and download failed over and over. i have hired movied before so not my PC thats the problem. Itunes have charged 5.99. How do I go about getting that money credited back to my itunes account. Thanks for any advice.

Hi..

Might be your anti virus software or firewall preventing you from downloading the rental.

Help here > iTunes Store: "Error (-50)" when downloading purchased content

Hmmmm Ill check when on PC next (ipad right now) but have had success with movie download in the past without having to change those settings. Worth a double check though thanks.

Apple's policy states that "all sales are final" > iTUNES STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Thanks for finding that- I didnt think itunes would be mucking around with refunds, it would be a nightmare for them. Just have to break the news to my 9 year old as it was her precious 6 bucks! Live and learn....
