Is there a way you can have real pages in IBooks to match a hard copy book?

Just go to the original PDF and delete pages in the beginning of the book that do not have page numbers. Usually there are many pages in the beginning of a book with Roman numerals which will throw off your iBooks count.
In general just subtract the actual textbook number from the iBooks page number and that's how many pages you should delete from the original PDF.
If I see page 368 in iBooks and 348 on the actual PDF image then I need to delete 20 from my original PDF. They do have to be in the beginning.
The iBooks are formatted for the iPad display. The may not match the pages in a hardback or softback real book.
Cheers, Tom 😉
