Zip files turn to CPGZ Archive files in OS X 10.7.4?

I downloaded a Zip archive file, but when I double-click on it to unzip, it turns into another zipped file (CPGZ Archive). I tried the download twice, with the same result. Is it possible I don't have the Archive Utility?

Alison48,

I am having this same issue. However, I also noticed that my downloads on my mac (in Finder) shows the download completed, but my downloads in my browser shows that it is still downloading. I'm thinking it may be due to the fact that the download has not been completed. Once I waited for the download to complete (which my Finder still shows no change), I was able to unzip it successfully. Archive Utility is built into the OS, so you should have it, X423424X said it best.
