thanks! i tried that already and it doesnt give me a newer version. im thinking that ipod touch g2 might not be able to upgrade ios versions from what ive been reading :/ or cant it?
I believe 4.2.1 is the last update for 2gen iPod touch. There are no more updates
Silly question but are you sure it is a 2nd gen touch? Because the 1st gen iPod touch doesn't go to 4.0
yes i went to settings and then to gneral it says version-2.2.1 or i dnt know im confused lol since i bought it used they told me it was version 2. know im thinking i should have just bought it new and newer version :/

yes its 1 gen 😟 from some guy on some fb page group got it for $75, the only thing about it its 16 gb i guess lol if that makes me feel better
