documents on same account two different iMacs

Dear Support Community,

What I would like to do is to be able to work on my Macpro on a document and be able to see the document in my iMac without having to copy, or connect to the other Mac. How do I do that? I would like to see the same folders in both. I know that that should be possible, shouldn't it?
