May 28, 2012 9:30 AM in response to Marsueby rkaufmann87,You may have a corrupt cache. Restart in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. If that still doesn't work then do both a iMac SMC and PRAM resets. And finally if those do not help then re-pair the mouse using:

May 28, 2012 10:41 AM in response to rkaufmann87by Marsue,OK. I pulled out the trackpad (which I have not been using) and it is working. Used it for a while, then checked you previous msg. Restarted the computer (turning the trackpad off and the mouse back on) and it is now working fine. I'll keep this message and try it again if it happens again. If I use your instructions if it recurs, I will give you a green check mark. Thanks so much for responding!

Jun 29, 2012 7:27 PM in response to Marsueby pHoEbe.ngayee,Thanks, it really work. I just hv same problem on my iMAC this morning in sudden. The left click of magic mouse doesn't work in sudden. And all menu need to use right click, but only work in menu bar, but not in action dialog box....
I completely turn off the TRACK PAD, then everythings resumed to normal.
Luckily I have another MACBOOK Air for internet access, and find this post....
