PC3200U-30330 compatible with G41.25 iMac?

I have an iMac which claims to have a 256 of:
DDR PC2700U-25330
according to Apple System Profiler.
Can I put another 256 of:
PC3200U-30330
in there? Will it just work at the slower speed?

IMHO

Its not worth risking it. By the time you have taken the thing apart and installed non specified RAM and put it all back to together again.....

Best just get the correct RAM and not have any worries about crashing or incompatability issues.
