May 28, 2012 8:22 AM in response to objectivempby K T,There are no guarantees.
I'm not sure, however, that if Apple decided it wasn't fit for publishing under a paid contract that they would then turn around and accept it as free, sorry. There are too many details involved and I'd think if you want it in the store you'd work to make it acceptable all around.
See Apple - iTunes - Partner Programs - Book Publishers for publishing details.

May 28, 2012 7:15 PM in response to ShownCassellby K T,If you want to use a paid account and sell it for zero, you can do that.
Then if you decide to charge for it, you can select another pricing tier.
Free accounts and paid accounts are not the same, so decide when you go in if you ever want to charge for it.
If you upload a book as free/free account, and then decide to try again with a paid account, you'll need to use an ISBN-13 and make sure the titles don't conflict and/or take the free out of the store first.

May 28, 2012 9:08 PM in response to ShownCassellby MichiHenning,If you sign up for a paid account, you can charge any price you like for your book, including zero. Note that, for a paid account, each book requires an ISBN, even if you make it available for free.
