I just got a new iphone and I cannot sync my gmail with icloud. Very annoying, since that's where all of my contacts are. It keeps saying my passowrd is incorrect, but I re-entered it several times and I know it is correct. The same thing happens on my ipad 2.

You cannot sync your Gmail account with iCloud. Only your iCloud account will sync using iCloud.
I was told when I bought the phone that all I had to do was sync it with my gmail and facebook and I would have all of my contacts. Is this not true? How do I access all of my contacts then?
I am trying to sync google contacts, and it is not accepting my password....
You can sync your google contacts with Google etc, but you can't sync them with iCloud. If you move your contacts to the iCloud account they will sync with iCloud but not with Google.
