I found **** sites that a friend accessed on my computer and I want to block these sites. He did not clear history and I was disguted and will in the future only my password will open my computer. How do I go about kblocking **** now?

OpenDNS can do it also, but you don't need Windows, only for that app, tou can manually enter these DNS numbers...

Try putting these numbers in Network>TCP/IP>DNS Servers, for the Interface you connect with...
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
Then Apply. For 10.5/10.6 Network, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
Mac OS X has Hosts file just like Windows. We can edit Hosts via Terminal on a Mac to block specific websites that are not allowed to visit. specific way here: http://www.internet-filter-mac.com/use-terminal-to-block-websites-on-mac.html
You can add as many as you like, but if you want to use Scrub-it then remove the OpenDNS ones.
Why 67.138.54.100 and 207.225.209.66 also?
Those are the two for Scrub-it, there are two for backup purposes when one is being updated on their end.
It didn't say it was for an imac but for windows xp and 2000 only. I downloaded OpenDNS, so I hope I did the right thing!!
